At Gate City Bank we take the security of your personal and financial information very seriously and take every precaution possible to protect it.
Gate City Bank is committed to protecting you:
- We have a Fraud Detection Center that monitors your Debit Card for potential fraud 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can recognize fraudulent purchases because they are generally made outside of your normal spending pattern. Fraudulent transactions are likely to be denied, you are not liable for any unauthorized transactions, and Gate City Bank will reimburse you.
- We recommend that you monitor your account and contact us immediately if fraudulent transactions are discovered. Use Online & Mobile Banking to monitor activity on your card, receive transaction alerts and turn your Debit Card “on” or “off” to help protect against fraud.
- If Gate City Bank’s Fraud Detection Service identifies fraudulent activity, they will contact you at the number you have provided us and we will work with you to resolve the situation. Please contact us with your cell phone number if you haven’t provided it, for timely communication if needed.
