Gate City Bank is providing a better way of life with affordable housing for families through the Habitat for Humanity Dakota 3:10 Blitz Build, which took place June 19-29, 2019. This was the first ever Blitz Build in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo community with volunteers building three homes in just 10 days - something that has never been done before in our community! Gate City Bank is making a difference through volunteerism, monetary donations and in-kind donations such as loan servicing. The Faizee family will be the recipient of a home through Habitat for Humanity, made possible by Gate City Bank. Our team members loved volunteering on-site during the 10-day build to help construct a home for the Faizee family. Massi Faizee served as an interpreter for U.S. Army, but his and his family’s lives were threatened by insurgents. They migrated to Fargo, North Dakota for safety. Gate City Bank is honored to help the Faizee family build a lifetime of memories in their new home through the Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build.
